All Wrapped Up...

Thats it. Its over. I believe everyone was happy and got what they wanted.
Minimal returns/exchanges this year. That makes me happy..

Although, I think next Christmas, we'll do things a little different. I have a few ideas swirling around in my head...

I'd like to say we'll be in a bigger place next Christmas but I'm thinking its not going to happen.
Its a funny little thing called 'good credit' thats holding us back.
:D

We'll have to work harder on that.

Happy New Year!

December

wow! December is flying by!
Seems like yesterday I was thinking - how am I going to get the cheesecake for Turkey Day made in time- and now its 2 1/2 weeks until Christmas.
Did a majority of the shopping today!
Bless Rob- he went clothes shopping with me and there was no complaining. He's great!
The kids are just about done. Just need to get stocking stuffers and they are finished!

Got the tree up tonight. It has lights and they are twinkling next to me. It smells nice too. Tomorrow we'll do ornaments before Z goes off to swim practice. Then I can wrap and get it out of my room and under the tree.

I am thankful that my kids don't believe in Santa. No more hiding gifts until they go to bed. No more giving Santa credit for the *really* cool gifts they wanted and so excitedly rip into Christmas morning. That would bother some people but I am thankful I don't have to lie to them. Never felt right.
Nothing against those who do Santa & elves ( Texasbug- we need elf stories).

Thats all- I'm tired..

Holiday Season

Its that time of year again. I'm kind of a bah humbug kind of person. Its too bad. I use to love the Holidays but now I think everyone is too concerned about what they're getting and forget about what they're giving. I wish I was financially stable enough to buy for all my family & friends but in reality I can barely afford to get gifts for my own children.
I am going to try to be more in the spirit.

Happy Holidays Everyone

(thats a good start, right?!)

Bitten

I think I must have been bitten by the "bitch" bug.
I can feel it. I know I am doing it and I DON'T CARE!
What is wrong with me?
My poor husband. I am trying to keep it in check but its not working out so well....

Dragging Ass

Oh man, I am exhausted. I love my job and don't feel as I am overworked but I am tired. Somedays I feel like I could fall asleep while driving home.
NOT GOOD!

I need to get my medication situation under control. Once that is right, I'll be ok.
Its a rainy Friday evening and I need to make dinner but I want to go to bed.

Good Day

*sigh* It was a good day today. Tracy & I were extremely giggly today at the end of the belt.
I think she may have pee'd her pants. LOL!
I am truly enjoying being back at Wilbur's. Its only been a few weeks but the atmosphere has changed so much that its like a new place. Its fun!
And, you know, all the chocolate a girl could want & more!
Now if I could just learn the art of self control.........

Horoscopes!

Do I follow my horoscope regularly? Well this week sure has been a fun one.
A little background- I am back at Wilbur's with a new position- Factory Supervisor. So I am in charge of what goes on and things getting done.
I am having trouble with 1 woman who has SEVERE OCD and is extremely anal about certain things. That makes her SLOWER than molasses and we can't be having that. I've tried being nice, I've tried explaining things. I'm done. I'm about to reach my boiling point and I need to not do that.
Its not MY factory, I just need to make it run smoothly and get product out.
I need to bring my concerns to the head honcho.
Breath in, Breath out...........

Monday- 10/27
You may be a bit jumpy today as Mercury forms a creative quintile with dark Pluto. There's no easy way to bring the intensity of your imagination right out into the open, but that won't likely stop you from trying. Keep in mind that you may ameliorate the tension but there's probably no magic word that will just make the serious issues disappear.

Tuesday 10/28
missed it- :(

Wednesday 10/29
Working harder isn't always the answer to being behind schedule, but today that extra little push can make all the difference in the world. Although you may have some resistance to accepting additional responsibilities now, this may be part of the package. Don't waste energy fighting it; just do what must be done.

Thursday 10/30
Continuing yesterday's theme of hard work may not sound like a lot of fun, yet your involvement can turn an impossible project into a success. Don't get distracted by any shortcuts, for they won't likely work for you now. Instead, focus on the details until the larger picture comes into clear focus. When it does, you'll know exactly what to do next.

Friday 10/31
Everything you do today is part of your grand scheme of things, however, if you are fiercely controlling you could run into a tough situation. Instead of spending energy trying to convince others to work for you, concentrate all your mind power on the most immediate goals and don't stop until you create a workable plan.

Happy Anniversary

Today has been 14 years! I can honestly say that I am more in love with RJT today than I was the day I married him.
He surprised me at work with a flower delivery.. Awww, sweet!
I'm making lasagna & salad, which he loves.
Brown chicken Brown cow to come later...

Let's not forget the girl....

Didn't want anyone to think I was forgetting about KAYLEIGH. Her birthday was Monday. She is 11. RJT ( RJ Toad- family nickname(Rob)) & I were thinking MP3 player. She has been wanting one but then at the last minute, said no, I'm not sure.
Soo, I suggested to him that we give her $$ to go clothes shopping. He said NO WAY! Who wants clothes for their birthday. ?? **Men** HA!
So I asked her, $100.00 for clothes or MP3 player? She was so happy at the chance to go on a shopping spree. So probably next weekend we'll go.
My girl is 11.

15 years ago today......

Wow, time flies! 15 years ago today, Zak was born. He was born at 9:30pm, weighing in at 8lbs. 1.75oz. Seems like yesterday. What a cliche' but its so true.
We'll be getting him Driver's Ed for his birthday this year. So hopefully this time next year I will be writing about what a good and responsible driver he is...
LOL!

It's Over......I hope

I think and truly believe that it's over. My time working at the Harraseeket has come to an end. And I don't mean because we closed yesterday for the season. I mean, 16 years is a long time and when there is no possible way to make more money or be appreciated for the stuff I do, then sadly its time to move on.
I have taken a FT position at my other job and while they are going to try their hardest to give me 40 hours during the summer, their slow time, I may have to get a part time job. It would be so easy for me to work at the Harra part time but I just feel like its time to go. Maybe in a few years I can go back part time but not now.
The wounds are too fresh.

I've met a ton of people over the years. Some I love dearly, some I could walk right by and not even say hello. Isn't it that way with everyone though?
I've made some very close friends and I wouldn't trade that for the world.

I'm sad about it. I would have worked there forever.

I will however still recommend them to anyone and everyone for the best seafood in Mid Coast Maine. May-Oct.

Football

This year Zak is playing on the Freshman Football team @ MTA High School. He doing great and has improved so much from last year. I still barely know whats happening but I go to the games and watch.
Z's pretty excited, he's punting tonight. Guess thats pretty cool.
GO#67!

Colby tried football too, but decided that sports just are not his thing. Peer pressure. I was not happy when he dropped it because I had just spent so much $$ on it. UGH! This is life. He's working on paying me back. He has a ton of chores. Not sure when I'll call it good, he's a good worker.

My title....

I like to be called the queen or Queen Bee.. Not Queenie though... Why? Well, why not?!
I like to be in control. I like to be in charge of things.
I want my license plate to read-
'The Queen' or 'Qwnbee77'. Not sure is RJT would like that though.
Can you picture it? RJT driving his big manly Armada and his pretty sunset looking Maine license plate reading 'Qwnbee77'.....
Ha!
